Once assembled it works like the real thing: load the casings into the mag, rack the slide, pull the trigger. The soft rubber tip fires and the brass casing ejects out the side. Rack again and it reloads.

It fires soft rubber tips at low speed — closer to a foam dart than anything else. It's brightly coloured all over with visible brick studs, so it reads as a toy at a glance. We'd still put safety glasses on for target practice, same as you would with any blaster.

No — it arrives fully assembled and ready to fire. The extra blocks in the box are for customising it: every studded surface takes standard building bricks, so you can add rails, sights, whatever you want. Compatible with the major brick brands (we're not affiliated with any of them).
